Police Emergency

A police emergency in neighbouring Pakuranga saw Lagoon Drive closed for part of today; children were kept inside at lunch time as a precaution although the emergency never came this side of the Tamaki River.

Sun Shone for Picnic!

Around 120 parents, friends, staff and pupils attended our annual school picnic yesterday.  Thanks to Peter  Fisher for cooking so many delicious sausages!  And despite two light showers earlier in the afternoon, the sun shone while we were eating.  (Parents' information meetings  followed the picnic).

Great Cambridge Results

Mrs Fisher on the Mend

Many of you will have heard Mrs Fisher had a fall and broke her foot.  She was back at school today - wheel-chair bound for now but definately on the mend.  Please pray for her.

Welcome Mrs Goedhart

We welcome Mrs Goedhart to the school as Visiting Artist for the first five weeks of this term.   An accomplished painter and trained teacher, Mrs Goedhart has two pre-school children and will be teaching art at all levels of the school in this time to stimulate students' artistic interest and skill.
