| • | Read the Prospectus The Prospectus is the key document in helping you learn about our school and how we can help your children. (Click anywhere in this paragraph to go to the Prospectus) |
| • | Fill In and Send Us an Enrolment Application Form Complete the form and send it to Carey College with the Application Fee, the most recent school report, a copy of a Birth Certificate or Passport (and Visa if for an International Student) and anything else that will help us assess the application. (Click anywhere in this paragraph to go to an Enrolment Application Form) |
| • | Your Application is Assessed Applications are previewed by addmissions staff, and if it appears a suitable vacancy is available, we arrange an interview with the prospective student and parents or caregivers. We will do all we can to help parents who want to enrol children in Carey College, especially those committted to Christ-centred schooling, but we have complete discretion as to which pupils are enrolled. (If your application matches our policies but there is no suitable vacancy we will place your application on a waiting list.) We normally let you know within a week whether or not your application has been accepted. |
| • | Starting School Year 1 children normally begin at Carey College on the first day of the term in which they turn five (we don’t wait for their birthday because it is helpful to have them from the start of a term). We will normally begin children in other years as soon as we can: there is no need to wait for the start of a term. All new enrolments are provisional for one term and will be confirmed when we are satisfied the enrolment is appropriate. |
| • | Senior College Courses We will discuss courses with all students, but Senior College students should note that preparation for Cambridge Examinations in October/November requires a full year’s course of study. Unless they have already been studying courses similar to those taught at Carey College students who begin at Carey College after Term 1 may not be able to plan for CIE exams in that year. |
