Carey College is designated as the exclusive provider of Secondary Schooling for Manukau Christian School.
Manukau Christian School in South Auckland and Carey College have long enjoyed a close relationship that is now expressed in a partnership offering children across central and southern Auckland the benefits of Carey College's internationally recognised excellence in secondary schooling.
The two schools share a commitment to the same biblical Christianity shaping their life and teaching. We also both teach the Cambridge Primary Curriculum preparing children for the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum taught at Carey College.
Both schools lie on the eastern rail link enabling secondary students from Manukau an efficient and safe commute to Carey College where the Christian schooling of their primary years can be continued.

The key points of the school partnership are:

Carey College provides direct entry into our secondary classes for children from Manukau Christian School via two paths:
a. Students from Manukau Christian School may transition to Carey College Year 9 classes on the same basis as we transition students from our own primary classes into year 9. Those children have priority in the allocation of available places ahead of applicants from other primary schools.*
b. Manukau Christian School may, at their discretion, arrange for a selected number of students enrolled at Manukau Christian School on their terms to be taught their secondary course at Carey College.

Through Carey College, Manukau Christian School offers secondary schooling that builds on its primary curriculum and reflects its faith and practice.

Staff from both schools help parents and children make the transition to secondary schooling at Carey College as seemless as possible.

Both schools are committed to implementing the Cambridge International Curriculum through all school levels and work together in staff training, curriculum development, and the promotion of biblical Christian schooling.
Parents can talk to staff at either school about the steps to be taken at the commencement of secondary schooling to transfer from Manukau Christian School to Carey College. We also arrange vists to Carey College and schedule information meetings for parents and pupils.
* Enrolment applications, including submission of our standard Enrolment Application Form and interview must be satisfactorily completed before any transfer form Manukau Christian School is finalised.
