Our commitment to setting high expectations for children and recognising excellence in achievement is part of a school culture that encourages all children to gain knowledge, skill and wisdom in a context of Christian faith, community and service.

The pursuit of excellence begins in Year 1 where we encourage children to delight in discovering the wonders of the world in which God has called them to his service by giving them early success in acquiring and using tools of learning.  For example, using our own phonics reading programme, all children learn to read to a tested 8 year reading age in their first year at school.

While we use an extensive range of assessment resources to evaluate and guide children's learning, the achievements of our Senior College students give evidence of the quality of the teaching programmes that have a unified structure and clear goals from year 1 through to year 13.
