Distance Learning |
Carey College provides extensive support for distance learning and home schooled students. God has been good to us in guiding the development of a dynamic, unified approach to Christian schooling which we make available to schools and parents free of charge (see our Open Licence for details).
-
We are progressively publishing our curriculum for schools, home schooling families and distance learning pupils. Course outlines (Year Plans) and Lesson Plans for most Secondary Grades (Years 9 – 13 in New Zealand or 8 – 12 in North America) are available and are being revised constantly. We hope to publish plans for Primary Grades (Years 1 – 8 in New Zealand or K – 7 in North America) progressively over the next year.
-
We have an extensive library of articles on the "how and why" of Christian Education, including coverage of current issues. We add to this library regularly.
PERSONAL SUPPORT
For many years we provided one-on-one support for pupils in home-schooling and other distance learning situations. We can no longer provide that level of help, but continue to publish our library of lesson plans in support of those who cannot attend Carey College.
