Partners with parents in ministering to children
Supporting & Managing the School
Entrusted with supporting our ministry to children, Carey College Ltd and the Carey College Trust supports families through the promotion and provision of Christian education and service in the community.
Carey College Ltd is responsibile for the promotion and governance of Carey College, ensuring that the legacy of our foundational years continues.
The school was founded in 1988 by the Drake family who vested it in Carey College Ltd to ensure its independence and flexibility. The Carey College Trust was established in 2012 to ensure families continue to have access to Christian schooling enriched by the heritage of excellence and Christian faith of those foundational years.
God says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge … the beginning of wisdom.” Proverbs 1:7 & 9:10 Our commitment at Carey College is to build on that principle, nurturing each student as an individual called into the service of God; to work with parents, helping you raise your children in Christ; to teach to standards of lasting truth and biblical excellence.
Our managers are committed to supporting our school community ~ parents, pupils and teachers ~ as it works in partnership to nurture children in excellence, knowledge and skill that prepares them for a life of learning, achievement and service. We are confident that as we trust God to continue the good work he is doing here, he will be faithful.
Leading Carey College
The directors of Carey College Ltd govern the school in close consultation with the Principal. We share a comittment to ensuring Carey College is a dynamic, safe and successful place where children grow in wisdom and grace.
We rejoice in the faithful and enthusiastic suppport of our school community; but we are also intensely aware that we need God's Spirit to be at work in every aspect of Carey College. So we encurage you to pray for us:
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. (Ephesians 6:18)
Carey College has always enjoyed generous financial support through gifts and donations. Although we are a fee-paying school, it is through the amazing generosity of God's people that we have been able to maintain this minsitry and enrich it in so many ways that fees alone could not have provided.
The Trust awards scholarships, grants and financial support to families, children and special school projects. One of our aims is to ensure 10% of our enrolments are free places for children whose parents could not otherwise access schooling at Carey College. Applications for Scholarships must be made using this Scholarship Application Form and must be accompanied by this Statement of Financial Postion Form.
Ideally located to integrate the school's life and ministry with the community, our buildings and grounds are presently leased. The owners are offering to help make this campus our permanent home by selling to us at a price substantially below market value: we need help to do this.
